Her career as actress began with Seventh Heaven, where she played Cecilia Smith for two seasons. In 2004 started "The Ashlee Simpson Show" on MTV. The same year she released her debut album "Autobiography" which went tripple platinum in th US. In 2005 she's released her second album "I Am Me", debuted at #1 at the Billboard 200. In 2007 she began dating with Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz. In 2008 Ashlee and Pete get married. The same year she's releasen her third album "Bittersweet World", later that year her son Bronx was born. In 2009 she returned to tv with Melrose Place, after her quit she made a hiatus. In 2011 Ashlee & Pete filed divorce. Now she's working on her fourth album. In 2013 she will be on the comedy "Pawn Shop Chronicles".

Actor Vincent Piazza is wary of talking about his "wonderful" girlfriend Ashlee Simpson as he's worried it will "diminish" their relationship.

The stars sparked rumours of a romance in June (11) after they were snapped kissing and walking arm-in-arm in New York City.

They seemingly confirmed the relationship by attending the second season premiere of Piazza's show Boardwalk Empire together last month (Sep11), and now the actor has addressed his union with Simpson. He tells Okmagazine.com, "Saying it publicly (my feelings) would only diminish it between the two of us. She's a wonderful girl."

Simpson filed for divorce from her husband, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, in February (11).

Both Nicole Richie and Ashlee Simpson showed off a little skin south of the border this weekend as they strutted their stuff in some skimpy swimwear..

Mother-of-two Richie, who just turned 30, proved that age is nothing but a number while sporting a black-two piece during a girls' getaway in Los Cabos with a few friends, including Samantha Ronson and Juliette Lewis.

Meanwhile, Simpson could be seen in a black polka-dot bikini as she lounged poolside in Cabo San Lucas.

While son Bronx wasn't around, it was still a bit of a family affair, with her dad Joe and sister Jessica on hand. Also lounging around? Simpson's new man Vincent Piazza.

And get this. At one point over the weekend, these two lovely ladies actually met up for a little lunch. Hey, when you're both in the same general area, why not?
