Making the most of the beautiful day, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted at a Beverly Hills park yesterday afternoon (September 13).
The “Sugar, We’re Going Down” rocker and his “Pieces of Me” songstress took their son Bronx Mowgli with them as they explored a koi fish pond complete with turtles.
As for her forthcoming album, Ms. Simpson has declared that she’s taking a new folk-inspired direction for the project.
Let’s just hope Ashlee’s new musical journey ends up better than her sister Jessica’s country ambition turned out.

Enjoying some family travel time, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (September 12).
The Fall Out Boy rocker and his singer/actress wife toted their son Bronx through the terminal, looking happy to be back home in SoCal.
And it sounds like Pete was occupied with watching the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards that took place last night.
He tweeted, “Just landed from home from texas. Excited to watch the VMAS from home for the first time in years! My homeboy jesse is producing!” followed by, “Mtv has been rad to us over the years. Good luck to everyone who's up for an award.”

It’s not a question of if 25-year-old Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and hubby Pete Wentz, 31, will have another baby — it’s a question of when! “We definitely will [have more children] in the future,” Ashlee told HollyBaby.com exclusively Sept. 10 during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week BCBG Show at Lincoln Center in NYC.
“For me, there’s never a rush,”Ashlee told us. “You know, life happens when it’s supposed to.”
Right now, Ashlee is just focusing on her raising 20-month-old son Bronx Mowgli Wentz. “I’m loving being a mom,” Ashlee gushed.
And Ashlee is getting super excited about Halloween this year as Bronx is going to be picking out his own costume for the first time! “This year he’s got his own opinions,” she shared. “So, we’ll let him decide!”
