Her career as actress began with Seventh Heaven, where she played Cecilia Smith for two seasons. In 2004 started "The Ashlee Simpson Show" on MTV. The same year she released her debut album "Autobiography" which went tripple platinum in th US. In 2005 she's released her second album "I Am Me", debuted at #1 at the Billboard 200. In 2007 she began dating with Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz. In 2008 Ashlee and Pete get married. The same year she's releasen her third album "Bittersweet World", later that year her son Bronx was born. In 2009 she returned to tv with Melrose Place, after her quit she made a hiatus. In 2011 Ashlee & Pete filed divorce. Now she's working on her fourth album. In 2013 she will be on the comedy "Pawn Shop Chronicles".

Reebok had some star power on hand to debut its newest line of fitness footwear and apparel this week, including its latest EasyTone offerings. Young Hollywood starlets Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Anna Kendrick, Rosario Dawson, Emmy Rossum, and Lindsay Price showed off the latest gear and worked out with celeb trainer Yumi Lee at a private residence in Los Angeles. At the event, Ashlee told E! that she used Reebok EasyTone shoes to lose the 50 pounds she gained while pregnant with baby Bronx. "When I wanted to get back into shape, I worked out and these shoes are amazing because you can really feel them in your booty. But I also worked out and ate healthy."

Ashlee Simpson az utóbbi időben teljesen eltűnt a reflektorfényből, ám amikor éppen feltűnik valahol a paparazzók egyből lekapják, így történt tegnap is, miközben éppen távozott a Reebok által rendezett eseményről. Az énekesnő elárulta, bizony a Reebok cipői is segítettek abban, hogy annak idején szépen le tudott fogyni a szülés után. Ashlee az E! Newsnak beszélt az eseméynről: "Annak idején 23 kilót híztam a terhességem idején, szinte mindent felfaltam, még a sütiket is. Olyan voltam, mint egy hurrikán, ami mindent elpusztít."

Ashlee-nek azonban nem tartott sokáig megszabadulni a pluszkilóitól: "Amikor eldöntöttem, hogy le akarok fogyni, el kezdtem keményen edzeni és ezekben a cipőkben nagyon kényelmes volt az edzés. De nem csak a cipők számítottak, edzettem és egészségesen táplálkoztam."

Fresh off of a lengthy break from the spotlight, Ashlee Simpson was all smiles as she stepped out for a Reebok event in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 16). Looking in fine form, the former "Melrose Place" actress was busy singing her praises for the Easy Tone sneakers - which she credits for snapping back into shape after her pregnancy. Talking about the transformation, Ashlee told E! Online, "I gained 50 pounds, which was awesome! I ate cake and cupcakes. I had a blast!" Once ready to lose the extra pounds, Miss Simpson said of the process, "When I wanted to get back into shape, I worked out and these shoes are amazing because you can really feel them in your booty. But I also worked out and ate healthy."
